Beading Artist
since 2005
Josephine was born in Hong Kong.
She opened a beading shop in Causeway Bay in 2005.
A Taipei branch shop called 活樂 was open in July 2023.
At the same time, she has been learning beading and embroidery techniques in Japan for 20 years on and off.
In April 2024 and June 2017, she applied her stitch project to the International Beads Biennale Hiroshima which organized by the TOHO Beads Style.
Her colorful beads stitch necklace have been chosen "Winning Works" of International Beads Biennale Hiroshima Exhibition 2024 Awards by the panel of judgement.
Both of the wearable projects were exhibited at the Biennale in Tokyo and Hiroshima in 2024 and 2017 respectively.
In March 2017, her beads crochet necklace contest project was exhibited at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum (Ueno). The project was honored by the AJC Creators Contest (AJC クリエイターズコンテスト)
From 2007, her costume jewelry designs were published on Japan
magazine "Beads Friend".
In 2009, her design called "cherry blossom" was earned tremendous
respect from 日本アートアクセサリー協会ビーズグランプリ competition.
